Project milestone #1

Information architecture

Working closely with the talented team at Cambridge, we delivered a taxonomy for the catalogue of novels, textbooks, academic journals and other publications. This involved landscape research, card sorting, user testing, sitemaps and detailed wireframes.

Wireframing involved continuous experimentation, conducting research to ensure the best possible user experience.
A taxonomy was established in order to catalogue and present publications in a meaningful way.
Faceted search was included on listing templates to aid discovery and careful content hierarchy was developed for publication detail templates.
Wireframes for account registration and eCommerce sales funnel.
One of several sitemap documents used in the information architecture.

Web design

The project included the responsive web design of the global landing page, Academic publishing and English Language Leaning.

The University of Cambridge's homepage served as an entry point to various arms of the business. The objective was to aggregate products from each division and provide a space for promotions.
Faceted search significantly improves user experience by allowing users to filter and refine search results based on specific attributes or categories
Design of the English language learning website involved many of the same objectives as the Academic site with the additional challenge of designing complex structures for course material.
